Growing up in Galveston County, Precinct 1, John has spent his life living, experiencing, and learning from what the area has to offer.
In 1997, John was sworn into the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office by Sheriff Joe Max Taylor. Since that time, John has continuously served the citizens of Galveston County by his core values: Service, Sincerity, and Integrity.
As a lifelong conservative resident of Precinct 1, he has seen its growth, its despair, and its potential; assisting during its times of need.
During his tenure working for the Sheriff, John has had the privilege of working with some of the finest in the Law Enforcement profession, not only right here in Galveston County, but throughout the Great State of Texas.
John's ability to lead when required, and to learn and follow when needed has garnered the respect of his colleagues in the public safety profession.
John’s knowledge, passion, and skills have made him an integral part of the Law Enforcement Community. He is routinely called upon by fellow officers, colleagues, and community members to train, answer questions, give advice, or to provide assistance.
His familiarity with local law enforcement, crime trends, the geographical area, and its citizens on both a personal and professional level will continue to benefit the citizens of Galveston County for years to come.
